The benefits of sleep go well beyond banishing dark circles. In fact, when I meet with clients and they tell me they don’t sleep, or don’t sleep well, it sets off pounding alarms in my head. Adequate sleep is critical to physical and mental wellbeing. Seriously. Sleep is a basic human need. Without adequate sleep, all your bodily functions are affected, some more than others but still, all. It is when we are asleep that our brains and bodies replenish themselves.
